Wathel Walkers/Rebel Nurse Runners
For the seventh year, we will be participating in the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) Team for Cures 5K Walk/Run.
As we know all too well, multiple myeloma is incurable. But your generosity and support over the years helped our mom live a longer life, and we are determined to continue to raise awareness and funds. We participate with gratitude for the additional time that MMRF research gave our mom with family, friends and loved ones, and so that other families can have more time with the people they love.
The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) was established in 1998 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by twin sisters Karen Andrews and Kathy Giusti, soon after Kathy's diagnosis with multiple myeloma. The mission of the MMRF is to relentlessly pursue innovative means that accelerate the development of next-generation multiple myeloma treatments to extend the lives of patients and lead to a cure.
We hope you can join us in this effort. We are doing everything as a team, so everything you need is on this page! Thanks, as always, for your support.
