We are raising awareness and funds to accelerate finding a cure for multiple myeloma, the second most common blood cancer and is incurable. Your generosity truly makes a difference, as funds raised at this event in the past have helped to:

- Nearly tripled patient survival
- Deliver ten new treatments in a decade
- Launched over 80 new clinical trials (like the one Patty is in)

Patty's current (3rd) remission is due to an immunotherapy clinical trial using the body's natural process of fighting disease with antibodies and has been working for her for almost 4yrs. The trial is over, it was a great success (Daratumamab) and now she will continue the monthly treatments as a regular course of therapy at the Winship Cancer Institute (Emory Hospital) in Atlanta.

Carol Jones Harder of Loogootee, IN, Patty and my hometown, just completed her SCT (stem cell transplant) at Indianapolis.

The mission of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) is to find a cure for multiple myeloma by relentlessly pursuing innovation that accelerates the development of next-generation treatments to extend the lives of patients. Founded in 1998 by Kathy Giusti, a multiple myeloma patient, and her twin sister Karen Andrews as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, the MMRF is a world-recognized leader in cancer research. Together with its partners, the MMRF has created the only end-to-end solution in precision medicine and the single largest genomic dataset in all cancers. The MMRF continues to disrupt the industry today, as a pioneer and leader at the helm of new research efforts. Since its inception, the organization has raised over $400 million and directs nearly 90% of the total funds to research and related programs. The MMRF is in the top 1% of all charities, having earned Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for 16 years. To learn more, visit
