Since diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma four years ago, I have been through some amazing experiences. Some medical proceedures I have been fortunate enough to recieve have curbed this disease for a long remission. While that in itself is a bit of a miracle, what has really astounded me is the caring, compassion, and support I have recieved from so many. The net is cast far and wide, with so many helping me physically and mentally through this difficult reality. Living with cancer is a mind game, and some days are better than others. Many days I am reminded of just how many people are willing to be part of my life, and bring joy and gratitude on those cloudy days. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. Your support and love are very much appreciated, and never forgotten.
I will be walking the MMRF Boston 5K again this year. You will be with me in my heart as I move forward toward hope. Thank you for coming with me!
