On January 6, 2016, we heard the words "you have multiple myeloma" for the first time. At the age of 39, my husband Rob Robinson was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of MM. For the next 14 months he endured multiple treatments including 2 bone marrow transplants and fought with a spirit that those who love him have never witnessed before.
Despite various treatments, my husband of 11+ years died on April 22, 2017. On this date, I took on the task of fighting on his behalf to help find a cure for this horrible disease and help prevent others from suffering.
Please help be part of this fight by donating and/or joining my team. On 9/15/19, Team Rob's Legacy will participate in the Chicago 5k to support, raise awareness, and increase treatments available to those battling Multiple Myeloma.
Thank you for taking the time to read the team page.
