That's me at the back on the right... with the hat. Proof that I do work for your donations.

I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 5 years ago. I'm doing well thanks to many healthcare professionals and feel optimistic about the future. There are so many more treatment options compared to 2014 although still no cure for what is the second most common blood cancer.
.
The MMRF is removing obstacles faster and extending lives. But we need your help.

This year, I will again be participating in the MMRF Team for Cures 5K Walk/Run in San Francisco - I will be walking!.I'm committed to raising awareness and funds to accelerate finding a cure for multiple myeloma, . Your generosity truly makes a difference, as funds raised at this event in the past have helped to:

Nearly triple patient survival
Deliver ten new treatments in a decade
Launched over 80 new clinical trials

The mission of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) is to find a cure for multiple myeloma by relentlessly pursuing innovation that accelerates the development of next-generation treatments to extend the lives of patients. Founded in 1998 by Kathy Giusti, a multiple myeloma patient, and her twin sister Karen Andrews as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, the MMRF is a world-recognized leader in cancer research. Together with its partners, the MMRF has created the only end-to-end solution in precision medicine and the single largest genomic dataset in all cancers. The MMRF continues to disrupt the industry today, as a pioneer and leader at the helm of new research efforts. Since its inception, the organization has raised over $400 million and directs nearly 90% of the total funds to research and related programs. The MMRF is in the top 1% of all charities, having earned Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for 16 years. To learn more, visit themmrf.org.

Please support my participation in the MMRF Team for Cures 5K Walk/Run in San Francisco. Your donation will have a meaningful impact on the lives of thousands of patients like me and their families!

Thank You!
